About Us

Wakanda Virtual Academy serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade (K-8), providing comprehensive online education across all these grade levels.

We provide high-quality online instruction in four core subjects: reading, mathematics, social studies, and science. Our curriculum is designed to meet educational standards while integrating African history and culture.

Our optional onsite learning coach support provides students with in-person guidance and assistance while they attend their online classes. This personalized approach ensures each student receives the individual attention they need to succeed.

During the pandemic, while many students struggled with online learning, Harvest Best Academy students actually improved their reading performance. This success, achieved through innovative support systems, inspired the creation of WVA in September 2023.

WVA combines high-quality online education with optional onsite support, creating a hybrid model that ensures personalized learning. We also integrate African history and culture into our daily learning, fostering both academic excellence and cultural awareness.

No, the onsite learning coach support is completely optional. We understand that different families have different needs, and we offer this service to enhance the learning experience for those who choose to utilize it.
